Digital India Hackathon-2017 is a pan India 36-hour non-stop digital programming competition. The participating teams are to simultaneously compete from across 33 centres in India with innovative solutions for the problem statement.
A Hackathon is a gathering where programmers collaboratively code in an extreme manner over a period of time. While working on a particular project, the idea is for each developer to have the freedom and ability to work on whatever the participants’ target. It’s a creative way of problem-solving.
The aim of this initiative is to harness the creativity and technical expertise of young minds studying in technology institutes. This enables participants to think out-of-the-box and come up with innovative and disruptive tech solutions for some of the daunting problems faced by our nation.
