Atrangada Chondamma (Chindamada, Manchalli), wife of late A.N. Kuttappa and a  resident of Kandangala village in Virajpet, Kodagu, passed away at her son Nanjappa’s house in Mandya at 12.40 pm on May 5. She was 91.

She leaves behind three sons — A.K. Nanjappa, A.K. Nanaiah and A.K. Uthappa, four daughters — Puchimanda Yeshoda Thammaiah, Kavadichanda Ponnu Dharmaja, Chamera Nirmala Muthappa and Koopadira Rukmini Ganapathy — daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grand- children and a host of relatives and friends. Eldest son A.K. Karumbaiah had pre-deceased her a few years ago.

Her body was brought to Mysuru today and last rites were performed at Mukthidhama crematorium, Vijayanagar 4th Stage here at 11.30 am, according to family sources.
