Atrocities on Kannadigas: Signature campaign against CFTRI Director held

Mysuru: Condemning the atrocities on Kannadigas in CFTRI by its Director Prof. Ram Rajasekharan, about 40 persons including littérateurs held a signature campaign at Vishwamanawa Park near Gun House here yesterday.

Littérateur C.P. Krishnakumar, speaking on the occasion, regretted that Kannadigas now have to fight for their rights which has become inevitable.

He said that three Kannada employees who voiced against the CFTRI Director were suspended and demanded that their suspension be revoked and added that atrocities on Kannadigas was not only taking place in CFTRI but in many places across the State. He called upon Kannadigas to unite and fight.

Kannada Sahitya Parishant former Presidents M. Chandrashekar and Maddikere Gopal, littérateurs Prof. Kalegowda Nagawara and Prof. Hannur Krishnamurthy, journalist Rajashekar Koti, CFTRI Ulisi Horata Samithi President K.S. Shivaramu and others were present.
