One arrested; 11 grams MDMA worth Rs. 30,000 seized

Mysore/Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police have arrested a youth, who was attempting to sell narcotic substance near Abhishek Circle in Hebbal on Saturday and have seized 11 grams narcotic substance MDMA worth about Rs. 30,000 from him.

The arrested has been identified as Shoaib, a resident of Suntikoppa in Somwarpet taluk of Kodagu district.

During interrogation, the accused is said to have told the cops that he had procured the drug from a person in Udayagiri and was attempting to sell it.

The CCB Police later handed over the accused to Vijayanagar Inspector Suresh Kumar, who registered a case and produced the accused before a Court, which remanded him to judicial custody.
