Australia win toss, elect to bat first against India

Australia won the toss and opted to bat first against hosts India in the fifth match of the ICC  One-Day International (ODI) World Cup-2023, at the M.A. Chidambaram stadium in Chennai this afternoon.

Hosts India and defending champions Australia begin their campaign in the ICC World Cup with this match.
