May 30, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: Auto and taxi drivers, who are without business and facing deep financial crisis following COVID lockdown, have filed online applications for financial aid, announced by the Government.

The online applying process was initiated by MUDA Member Naveen Kumar and Mysuru Yuva Balaga and the online applications were uploaded at an internet centre near Sadvidya Circle.

Speaking on the occasion, Naveen said that lakhs of labourers, drivers and other daily wagers were caught in deep financial crisis following the lockdown by the Government to contain the spread of the deadly virus and added that CM B.S. Pointing out that the financial aid should reach the correct beneficiary, Naveen said that auto and taxi drivers were brought together and the applications were uploaded online.
