It is noteworthy that Mysuru now has an automated driving test track at RTO East in Rajivnagar. Compulsory theory classes and a computerised test on road safety and traffic rules with a required pass percentage would also augment this.

Road-users in our city witness cases of people overtaking from the left side, speeding through red lights, not using helmets, not stopping for pedestrians and other dangerous riding habits which can lead to avoidable accidents and even fatalities.

Appropriate training sessions in such aspects on road usage will help them and others be safer on our roads.
