Automotive Axles & Apollo BGS Hospitals Celebrate Milestone of Clubfoot Surgeries

Mysore/Mysuru: Automotive Axles Ltd., in collaboration with Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, celebrated the successful completion of 19 Clubfoot Correction Surgeries for children from underserved communities at a  programme held at Apollo BGS Hospitals in city recently.

The surgeries were supported under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Automotive Axles and Apollo BGS Hospitals, which had committed to help 20 surgeries for children affected by Clubfoot.

The programme was held in the presence of representatives from Automotive Axles including Nagaraj Gargeshwari, President and Whole-Time Director of Automotive Axles, Vinayak Bhat, Senior General Manager – ER & IR, Debadas Panda, Legal Secretary and Dr. H. Praphul Anjan, Medical Officer, along with the leadership team and doctors from Apollo BGS Hospitals.

During the event, four to five children who had undergone the surgery shared their recovery journeys and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to receive treatment. Their stories reflected how timely surgical intervention has helped them walk confidently and look forward to a healthier future.

Dr. Shreyas Alva, Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon at Apollo BGS Hospitals, who played a key role in performing the surgeries, was felicitated by Nagaraj Gargeshwari.

Speaking during the event, dignitaries emphasised the importance of corporate and healthcare partnerships in addressing congenital conditions like Clubfoot and ensuring that children from underserved communities receive timely treatment.
