Mysuru: The Department of Mechanical Engineering of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru, inaugurated an automotive club ‘AUTOMATRIX’ recently.

The main objectives of this Club are to spread awareness about automotive engineering and automotive mechanics, educate students about the recent advancements, conduct quiz and seminar, inculcate the problem-solving and handling skills, and give wide opportunity for the students to comprehend the theoretical and practical aspects.

In the inaugural function, Dr. H.S. Dayananda, Dean-Academics and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Dr. G.B. Krishnappa, Dean-Research & Development, Dr. L.J. Sudev, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, staff co-ordinators Prof. Arun C. Dixit, Prof. S. Gururaja, staff members and students were present.

This automotive club has numerous objectives and will be executed at the earliest, said Mohammed Salman Pasha, Student Coordinator. The Student Coordinators and volunteers Bharath Yogendra, Nishanth Srirampura, Pooja and others were present.
