Mysuru: Young Indians (Yi), an integral part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), has always been contributing for the development of the nation. Now autorickshaws are the Yi Mysuru’s brand vehicle for Swachh Bharat initiative.

The Young Indians have designed an eco-friendly cloth ‘Auto Bins’ as part of Swachh Bharat initiative. This bin, which aptly fits next to the auto meter is designed for dry waste disposal with a message to “Keep Mysuru Clean.”

The auto drivers of the city have welcomed this initiative thus contributing to Swachh Mysuru. In all, 500 autos have been fitted with these bins and are in three locations across Mysuru — the pre-paid auto stand at the Suburban Bus Stand, Railway Station and the Zoo.

The project was inaugurated by Mayor M.J. Ravikumar and ACP Madaiah in the bbus standrecently.
