Mysore/Mysuru: Lions Club of Mysore Garden City celebrated Teachers and Engineers’ Day at a private hotel in city recently by felicitating Prof. Roopamalaa, Head of the Department of Computer Science, Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), by presenting ‘Teacher Extraordinaire Award’ and Er. G. Suvarna, Executive Engineer, Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), Mysuru, by presenting ‘Engineer par Excellence Award.’

On this occasion, Member Er. Veeresh was also felicitated for being promoted as Executive Engineer in PWD. 

President Shalini Nagaraj presided over the meeting. MCC Nagaraj Bairy spoke about significance of celebrating Teachers & Engineers’ Day. Yoganand, Umashankar and Bettegowda were the hosts of this event. 

Revathi Krishnappa mastered the ceremony. Treasurer Pratima Krishna proposed a vote of thanks.
