Mysore/Mysuru: The ‘Sri Shivarathreeshwara award’ (2023, 2024 & 2025), ‘Sri D.V. Halabhavi award’ and ‘M. Veerappa Endowment award’ will be presented to the eminent personalities at a programme organised under the joint aegis of Jagadguru Veerasimhasana Mahasamsthana Mutt, Sri Shivarathreeshwara Endowment  and JSS Mahavidyapeetha at Suttur Mutt at the foot of Chamundi Hill here at 5 pm on Apr. 15.

Sri Shivarathreeshwara award will be presented to O.L. Nagabushanaswamy, H.S. Siddagangappa, Dr. S. Shivanand Byalahunasi, Dr. Ajaykumar Tandoor and to the family members of late Prof. Bhalachandra Jayashetty; M.Veerappa Endowment award to Sangappa Ningappa Malagonda, Shivaputrappa M. Badiger and Chandrashekar Bheemanappa Somashetty  while D.V. Halabhavi award to Prof. K.S. Appajaiah, Vijaya Rao and Kishorekumar Hiremath.

Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. Kannada and Culture Department Director Dr. B.S. Manjunathswamy will preside.
