Dejagow and Sri Kuvempu Vidyavardhaka Trust
Mysuru: City-based Dejagow Trust has selected Littérateur Dr. K.V. Narayana for its annual ‘Vishwa Manava Prashasti’ for the year 2018. The award carries a cash prize of Rs.25,000 and a memento.
Littérateur Meera Shivalingaiah will be awarded with ‘Smt. Savithramma Dejagow Mahila Prashasti’ for the year 2018. This award carries a cash prize of Rs.20,000 and a memento.
Dejagow Trust has instituted the said awards.
While Sri Kuvempu Vidyavardhaka Trust has decided to honour senior researcher Dr. M. Chidanandamurthy with ‘Karnataka Ratna Nadoja Dr. Dejagow Prashasti’ for the year 2018 recognising his contributions for the growth of Kannada. This award carries a cash prize of Rs.20,000 and a memento.
Sri Kuvempu Vidyavardhaka Trust will also honour Prajapragathi Kannada Daily Editor S. Naganna with ‘Late H.K. Virannagowda Patrikodyama Prashasti’ which carries a cash prize of Rs.15,000 and a memento.
The awards will be conferred during a programme to be held on Dec.29 to mark Kuvempu’s Birth Anniversary celebrations.
