Awareness campaign vehicle on ‘Prevention of child marriage’ launched

Mysuru:  An awareness campaign vehicle on ‘Prevention of child marriage and child rights protection’ was jointly launched by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Women & Child Welfare Department and Child Welfare Committee in city on Thursday.

The vehicle was flagged off by Principal District and Sessions Court Judge P.J.M. Patil from City Law Courts Complex here.

The vehicle carrying theatre artistes in it, passed through Agrahara Circle, RTO Circle, Hebbal and Yelwal, during which they staged street plays to create awareness among the public.

State Children Commission Chairperson Kripa Alva, Saraswathi of Rural Literacy and Health Programme(RLHP), Suresh and others were present.
