Awareness programme on cyber ethics at JSS College

Mysore/Mysuru: The Postgraduate Departments of Commerce, Economics and Chemistry of JSS College for Women, Saraswathipuram, in association with IQAC, organised an awareness programme on ‘Cyber Ethics and Youth Relationships’ recently.

D.R. Sunil Kumar, Karnataka Team Leader of Rescue Charitable Trust, delivered the keynote address.

He highlighted the growing threats of cybercrimes, pornography, online exploitation and emotional manipulation targeting youth, citing real-life cases.

He stressed the need for awareness, self-control and responsible digital behaviour. The session drew an enthusiastic response from students, who actively engaged and clarified their doubts on digital safety and responsible internet use.

Principal Dr. Rechanna, Head of Economics Dr. Rajashekar, and IQAC Coordinator H.G. Pradeep were present along with faculty and students. Keerthana of II M.Com welcomed the gathering, anchored the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
