Awareness programme on MSME Delayed Payment Act-2006

Mysuru: An awareness programme on MSME Delayed Payment Act-2006 for the recovery of Small Scale Industries Dues from their Buyers is jointly organised by MSME-DI, Bengaluru and Directorate of MSME, District Industries Centre, Mysuru, Mysore Industries Association (MIA) and MSME Council on Dec. 18 at 10.30 am at Lalitha Sabhangana of Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology on Bannur Road in city.

This programme will be inaugurated by Gunjan Krishna, Commissioner of MSME Directorate, Government of Karnataka. Vasu, ex-MLA and President of MIA, will preside.

R. Raju, Vice-President, KASSIA, H.M. Srinivasa, Additional Director, MSME, D.K. Lingaraju, Joint Director, DIC, Piyush Agarwal, Deputy Director, Ministry of MSME, New Delhi and Ravi Koti, President, MSME Council,  will be the chief guests.

Officers of Industries Departments, Industry Association office-bearers and Industries from Mysuru, Mandya, Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Hassan, Chikkamagalur, Chamarajanagar Districts, who purchase from Micro and Small Scale Manufacturers and Service Providers  can participate in this programme.

The Facilitation Council will assist Micro & Small Enterprises in the recovery of their dues from Medium & Large Industries, PSUs, State & Central Government Departments towards the supplies made to them which is affecting the working capital requirement and eventually resulting in sickness and closure of these MSMEs.
