Mysuru: An awareness programme on National Pension System (NPS) of the Government of India, aimed at promoting retirement planning and financial security for employers and employees of industries and MSMEs in Mysuru region, will be held at Hotel Grand Serene at 4 pm on Oct. 9.
The programme is jointly organised by District Industries Centre (DIC), National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Mysuru Chapter, Mysuru Industries Association (MIA) and MSME Council, in collaboration with Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), Government of India.
Ismail Salam, Deputy General Manager, PFRDA, New Delhi, will address the gathering on NPS and pension schemes.
MLC Dr. K. Shivakumar will inaugurate. MLA T.S. Srivatsa will preside. Dinesh, Joint Director of DIC, will be the chief guest.
P. Vishwanath, President, MIA and C.V. Srinivasan, President, NIPM, Mysuru Chapter, will be present on the occasion.
The objective of the programme is to create awareness among MSME entrepreneurs, employers, employees, human resource professionals and industrial representatives about systematic retirement planning and long-term financial security through the National Pension System.
Participants will also have an opportunity to interact with the resource person and obtain answers to their queries.
Mysuru Industries Association General Secretary Suresh Kumar Jain, has appealed the representatives of industries in city, MSME entrepreneurs, employers, employees, human resource professionals and representatives of industrial and commercial organisations to participate in the programme and benefit from the expert session.
Admission is free, but prior registration is compulsory.
