Awareness rally on preventing air pollution taken out in city

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of the 35th National Road Safety Month, an awareness rally was taken out under the aegis of the Office of the Joint Transport Commissioner in city recently.

The rally, with  the theme “Use electric vehicles, check for air pollution, change engine oil periodically,’ commenced from the RTO (West) Office in Chamarajapuram, passed through M.G. Road and Mahatma Gandhi bust opposite the City Law Courts Complex, before culminating at the starting point.

The participants held placards that carried messages on the importance of controlling air pollution and the use of  electrical vehicles.

RTOs Devika and Shafiuddin and other staff were present.
