Ayurveda garden planned at Freedom Fighters’ Park

Mysore/Mysuru: A meeting was held at the office of Mysuru District and City Freedom Fighters’ Association, in the premises of Freedom Fighters’ Park, Subbarayanakere, here yesterday to condole the death of Association President Dr. M.G. Krishnamurthy, who passed away in city on Aug. 21.

Speaking at the programme, Corporator Pramila Bharat said that Dr. Krishnamurthy was a practicing Ayurveda Doctor and known for simplicity. He wanted to raise Ayurveda medicinal plants garden at Freedom Fighters’ Park and that wish will be fulfilled by raising the garden in a portion of the Park.

Veteran freedom fighter and Association Vice-President Y.C. Revanna recalled his close association with Dr. Krishnamurthy during the Freedom Struggle and also his achievement as the Assn. President for eight years.

Freedom Fighters Somashekar, Rangashetty, M.B. Lingaiah, Nagaratnamma, Premavati, Sunandamma and Association Hon. Secretary Prof. H.S. Ashwathnarayan were present.
