Ayurveda Meet in city on Nov. 6, 7 to discuss digestive system

Mysuru, Oct. 27 – Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad, in association with Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), has organised Samyojanam – National Ayurveda Conference, on Nov. 6 and 7 at KSOU’s Convocation Hall in city.

The Conference will mainly hold discussions about pachana (digestive system) related ailments. About 1,200 delegates from Karnataka and other States will be attending the Conference.

Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot and Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will be participating in the inaugural session. Dr. Manjunath will be delivering the keynote address.

About 10 resource persons will be attending the Conference, that includes paper presentation, rendition of slokas and screening of video clips.

The accommodation facility for outstation delegates will be made at KSOU, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram and other venues. The transportation arrangements will be taken care of by Dr. Chandrashekar of Cauvery Hospital and Maharaja Education Trust (MET) Chairman S. Murali. The food related arrangements will be made by Suttur Mutt in coordination with KSOU.

A meeting of Advisory Committee of the Conference was held at BSS Vidyodaya, Krishnamurthypuram in city recently.

Murali, Srihari Dwarakanath of GSS, Swamy Maralapura, Amshi Prasanna Kumar, Dr. Sowmya, Dr. M.N. Sudha, Dr. Amarnath, Shashikumar, Dr. Karthik Pandit, Dr. Subhash, M.R. Manjunath and others were present.
