Ayurveda student ends life in city

Mysuru: An ayurveda student who was being treated at a city hospital after she reportedly consumed excessive pills in a bid to commit suicide, succumbed yesterday. The deceased has been identified as Rinku (23), a native of Hullahalli in Nanjangud taluk and a final year Ayurveda student of the city.

Rinku, who stayed at Kuvempunagar ‘M’ block, is said to have consumed excessive pills on Sept. 15, following which she was rushed to a hospital here, where she breathed her last yesterday.

Kuvempunagar Police have registered a case in this regard.
