Nanjangud, Feb. 26- Ramesh Dhanya (69), proprietor of Mayur Darshan Hotel and President of Taluk Hotel Owners Association, passed away at his residence yesterday.
A well-known football player, he leaves behind his wife, son Nakul Dhanya, daughter Namratha Dhanya and a host of relatives and friends.
Ramesh was the member of Sports Union Football Club and was also serving as the Secretary of Veera Brahmendraswamy Seva Trust.
Last rites were performed near Hadinaaru Kaalu Mantapa this morning, according to family sources.
