Babri Masjid Demolition: Muslim delegation urges Centre to expedite pending cases

Mysuru: A delegation, comprising leaders of various Muslim organisations of city, registered their protest over the demolition of Babri Masjid at Ayodhya in 1992.

A meeting in this regard was held at the office of Rifa-Hul-Muslimeen Educational Trust here on Dec. 6 and a memorandum was submitted to Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) H.N. Shivegowda at the DC’s office.

In the memorandum, the delegation has urged the Centre to expedite all cases related to Babri Masjid demolition which are pending since many years, to recommend stern action against those showing disrespect to the Constitution and to re-construct Babri Masjid at its original site among others.

Rifa-Hul-Muslimeen Educational Trust Hon. Secretary Taj Mohammed Khan, AIMEIM District President Nabeel Mohammed Khan, Darul-Uloom Siddiquia Arabic College-Mysuru Secretary Abdul Azeez Chand, former Mayor Ayub Khan and others were present.
