Udayaravi Main Road in Kuvempunagar, about a kilometre stretch from Kavitha Departmental Stores on Paduvana Road, is in a very bad condition. The road was not relayed with tar for more than a decade. It is filled with potholes and craters. This is the route I usually commute to reach my office, as it is the main road connecting Kuvempunagar and T.K. Layout.

Now, it has become impossible to negotiate the craters on the road. Apart from damaging the vehicle, it also damages the backbone of the rider. Moreover, there is a Health Centre, a reputed hospital and a few shops on the same road. The sick people, who need to visit these centres, will have to pass through this bumpy road.

Hence, I request the concerned Department of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) to depute their representative to inspect and take appropriate action. I also request the elected representative of the area to visit and recommend quicker action.
