Bag prizes at Inter-Zonal Sports Meet

Mysuru:  The students of Lalitha High School at Yadavagiri in city, who participated in the Inter-Zonal Sports Meet organised by the Department of Public Instruction, North Zone, have bagged prizes in various sports events.

Higher Primary Section: The relay team, comprising Tejaswini, Sonica, Kavanashree and Kushi, all studying in 7th std., has bagged second place in the event  4×100 mts and has been selected to participate in the District-level Athletic Meet. Tejaswini has also bagged third place in the 100 mts. running event.

High School Section: Gagana of 10th std. has bagged first place in Triple-Jump and second place in 100 mts and 200 mts running. S. Rashmi, also of 10th std., has bagged second place in 800 mts. running and V. Aishwarya of 9th std. has bagged second place in 400 mts. running race; In 4×100 mts. relay, the team, comprising S. Gagana and S. Rashmi of 10th std., V. Aishwarya of 9th std. and R. Bhoomika of 8th std., has bagged second place and has been selected for the District-level Athletic Meet.
