Bags 3 Gold Medals in Shooting

Diya Ponnappa, 2nd PUC student of Sapient PU College, run by Sapient Education Trust, Vijayanagar, represented Karnataka at the 9th South Zone Shooting Championship held in Chennai and won three Gold Medals in 10 Meter Open Sight Air Riffle Youth Women; 10 Meter Open Sight Air Riffle Junior Women and 10 Meter Open Sight Air Riffle Senior Women.

She also broke the South Zone Record in Open Sight.
