The Paper titled “Reading Kannada Critical Works on Shakespeare to Enhance Understanding and Appreciation: Some Reflections”  by Dr. R. Purnima, Director, Children’s Literary  Club, Mysuru, has received the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on “English Language, Literature & Communication: Innovations & Applications in the Teaching – Learning Scenario” (ELLCIATLS-2017) organised by the School of Humanities, K.R. Mangalam University,      Gurgaon, recently.

Two works in Kannada on Shakespeare, titled Shakespearige Namaskara, edited by S. Balu Rao and The  Shakespeare by  M . Rama Rao, were taken up for study.
