Mysuru: The GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW) participated in the 41st series seminar and exhibition of student project programme conducted by Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST), Bengaluru, held at Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Davangere, last month.

The three projects of Department of Information Science and Engineering, GSSSIETW, were funded by KSCST and were shortlisted for the 41st Series. The following were the projects: “IOT-based Delivery Boys Safety Control and Bike Analyzer,” “Obstacle Detection and Identification Using a Single Camera for the Visually Impaired” for Exhibition and “Smart Energy Harvesting using IoT” for Seminar.

The Department of Information Science and Engineering bagged the best project award for “IOT based Delivery Boys Safety Control and Bike Analyzer,” guided by Dr. Reshma Banu and Ayesha Taranum. The students were R. Chethana, H.N. Arpitha Gowda, S. Harshitha and Inchara A Kumar.
