Mysuru:  S.N. Mourya of 8th standard, Ideal Jawa Rotary School, was awarded the Hoysala & Keladi Chennamma Bravery Award for his courage in saving a 60-year-old woman who had slipped into the river near Harangi Dam.

In recognition of his bravery, the State Government honoured him with the Hoysala Bravery Award on Children’s Day 2018. He is the son of S.R. Nandeesh, according to a press release from S.A.Veena, Principal.
