M.G. Somashekar, patron member of Builders Association of India (BAI) Mysore Centre and CMD, PG Setty Construction Technology Pvt. Ltd., Mysuru, has received the prestigious “Vishwakarma Award 2017” at a recently concluded function in Delhi. The award, instituted by Construction Industry Development Council of India (CIDCI), is given in recognition of their fast track construction project executed at Mysuru for Karnataka Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation.

While the company has received this award for the second time after 2012 Somashekar has been awarded Builder of the Year twice (2001 and 2011).

He was also responsible for Karnataka Slum Clearance Board receiving the Prime Minister’s Award for using best cost-effective technology for development of slums in India.
