Mysuru – Builders Association of India (BAI) Mysore-Blue Sand Award for construction excellence was distributed at a ceremony organised by BAI Mysore Centre along with Sri Balaji Blue Sand Industries. The event was followed by a farewell for  outgoing Chairman N. Subramanya and his team.

The Award encourages best practices and innovative technologies in construction. The award was distributed under nine construction categories like residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, monuments, eco-friendly construction, apartments, etc.

Scion of Mysore Royal family Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar was the chief guest, who was accompanied by his wife Trishikha Devi Wadiyar. R. Guru, Chairman of NR Group, was the guest of honour. Partners of Sri Balaji Blue Sand Industries M.C Mallikarjun and Bapuji graced  the occasion.

N.Subramanya welcomed the gathering. Past State Chairman of BAI M.S. Nandakumar briefed about the award function. Sharanya rendered invocation. BAI Hon. Secretary B.S. Dinesh proposed a vote of thanks. Prashanth was the master of ceremony.

BLUE SAND AWARD WINNERS: Project of the Year in the category of Institutional Buildings: M/s JMJ Builders, Mysuru, for Siddhartha Medical College, Tumakuru.

Project of the Year under Residential Buildings category – 60 to 225 sqmts:  D. Ashwatha for Prasanna Kumar’s residence at Kuvempunagar.

Project of the Year under Residential Buildings category – 225 -370 sqmts: Shreeman Constructions, Mysuru, for Vikas Jain’s residence Siddarthanagar, Mysuru.

Special award for eco-friendly construction: M. Dinesh for public conveyance facility at Chamundi Hill, Mysuru.

Award for Construction Excellence (apartments having 50 – 100 flats): M/s Prithvi Infrastructure, Mysuru, for   Prithvi Palace.

Award for Construction Excellence (residential buildings of 370 sqmts and above): M/s Atreyadithya Constructions for the house of M. Parashivamurthy, Srirampura, Mysuru.

Award for Construction Excellence in the category of Industrial Buildings: M/s Newtech Constructions for Lotus Power Gear Private Limited Harohalli, Ramanagaram district.

Award for Construction Excellence in the category of commercial buildings: M/s R&R Associates for Hotel Lok Sagar, Mysuru.

Award for Construction Excellence in the Category of Institutional Buildings: M/s Anand Associates for Siddarameshwara Temple Complex, Siddaramanahundi.
