Mysuru, Jan.1- Builders Association of India (BAI), Mysuru Centre celebrated Builders’ Day with the theme for the year ‘Innovative Techniques in Modern Construction’ at MBCT auditorium, Vishweswaranagar in city recently.

BAI National President A. Puhazendi who was the chief guest addressed the gathering. Ramco Cements Ltd. Senior-DGM-Technical Services Anil Kumar Pillai gave a presentation about the new products introduced by his company.

BAI State Chairman K.S. Someshwara Reddy gave a brief report about the activities of BAI.

Two members M.S. Ramprasad, former Chairman, BAI, Mysuru Centre and J.V.R. Naidhruva, Chairman-Elect, BAI, Mysuru Centre were conferred the “Builder Par Excellence of the Year” award, while M.C. Mallikarjun, former Chairman, BAI, Mysuru Centre was awarded the “Member Extra-ordinaire Award.”

Centre Chairman K. Subramanya Rao welcomed, Hon. Secretary K. Ajit Narayan proposed a vote of thanks and invocation was by Sharanya. Veena and S. Arun Kumar compeered, according to a press release from BAI, Mysuru Centre.
