BAI conducts internship for engineering students

Mysuru: Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, had organised the valedictory function to 150 students from various Engineering Colleges in and around Mysuru, who have completed their internship programme on ‘Civil Engineering and Construction Technology and Management’ at MBCT Auditorium in Mysuru recently.

The internship programme had two technical sessions — one on Pre-Cast Technology from M/s P.G. Setty Construction Technology Pvt. Ltd. by M.G. Somashekar and Bhavya Shetty; another session was on Career Guidance from Retd. General Manager, Tata Housing by Er. B.S. Raghuram.

Certificates were distributed to engineering students who have completed their one month internship programme from Sept.2 to Oct.1 and Sept.13 to Oct. 9, which was conducted by BAI in various sites in and around Mysuru.

K. Ajit Narayan, Chairman, BAI, Mysore Centre, gave a brief report about the activities of BAI. S.K. Prasad, HoD, Civil Engineering, Vidyavardhaka Engineering College, Mysuru, was the chief guest. T.N. Hemanth, Managing Trustee of MBCT, was the guest of honour.

All the 150 Engineering students from 8 Engineering Colleges were graded for their project report and certificates were distributed. The chief guest symbolically distributed the certificates to 20 students.

A.S. Yoganarasimha, Hon. Secretary, BAI, Mysore Centre, proposed a vote of thanks.

 Shilpi Coordinators B. Rajesh Darira, A. Dinesh, R. Ravi, P. Mahendra Reddy and Advisor S. Mahadevaswamy, Past Chairman of BAI Mysore Centre, BAI members with their family, faculties from all engineering colleges were present.
