BAI to host Build-Tech seminar from Nov. 17

Mysuru: The two-day 17th Annual International Technical Seminar Build Tech-2017 organised by Builders Association of India (BAI), Mysuru Centre, will be held from Nov. 17 at Senate Bhavan in Manasagangothri here.

Addressing press persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here this morning, Build Tech-2017 Organising Committee Chairman A.S. Yoganarasimha said that the event would be inaugurated by Dr. P. R. Swarup, Director General, Constructions Industries Development Council, New Delhi on Nov. 17 at 10 am. BAI State Chairman S.R. Swamy will be the guest of honour. BAI National President H.N. Vijaya Raghava Reddy, will preside.

Around 750 delegates including engineering students, faculty members, builders, developers, members of other BAI chapters including Kerala and Tamil Nadu are expected to take part in the seminar.  Stating that the theme of this year’s seminar was ‘3D Printing, Robotics and Automation,’  Yoganarasimha said while Robotics and Automation were a part of construction industries, 3D Printing was being newly introduced.

The organisers have invited experts like 19-year-old Chris Kelsey of USA, Faizal Kottikollan, Chairman and Founder, KEF Infra, Dubai, Prof. Venkatesh Naidu Nerella from Dresden, Germany, Shinil Shekar from Pune, Pulkit Gaur of Gridbots India, Abhishek Gupta of Movel, Singapore and S.J. Vijay from Salmon Leap and others to speak on various topics during the two-day seminar.
