Ban orders around exam centre

On account of the second year main exam of D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) course to take place at Maharani’s Teacher Training Institute located on N.S. Road in city from July 16 to 20, the city Police have issued prohibitory orders in 200 mts. radius around the centre from 6 am to 6 pm on all the five days of the exam, as per Section 163 of Bharatiya Nagarik  Suraksha Sanhita. Accordingly, barring the examinees and exam officials, no unauthorised persons will be allowed entry to the exam centre. Also, carrying of objectionable articles around the centre is prohibited and all photo copy shops and cyber centres in the vicinity of the exam centre have been ordered to shut down during exam hours, according to a press release.
