Ban on sale of liquor

The sale of liquor has been banned in Hunsur town from 6 am on Dec.3 to 6 am on Dec. 4 in order to protect law and order and prevent any untoward incident occurring during the Hanuma Jayanti celebrations from Dec.1 to 4. Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep has passed the order prohibiting the sale and distribution of liquor in all types of shops, hotels and bar and restaurants under the Karnataka Excise Act, said a press release.
