Bank Note Paper Mill India emerges Champions of GRIC Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament

Mysore/Mysuru: GRIC Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament was organised by the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of Mysore Chapter of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) at Maharaja’s Cricket Grounds in city on Jan. 21 in which four teams — GST Department (Captain: Manish Kumar), Income Tax Department (Captain: Prasad), ICAI (Prabhakar) and Bank Note Paper Mill India Pvt. Ltd. (Captain: Sharad Prabhakar Desai) — had taken part.

Bank Note Paper Mill India emerged Champions of the Tournament and GST Department were runners-up.

S.A. Raghavendra of BNPM was awarded ‘Man of the Tournament,’ Mohan Muralidhar Jakati of BNPM – ‘Best Fielder of the Tournament,’ Rahul Yadav of GST Department – ‘Best Batsman of the Tournament,’ Rahul Sachan of GST Department – ‘Best Bowler of the Tournament’ and Deepak Kumar of BNPM – ‘Man of the Match (finals).’

The dignitaries on dais were S. Thalikerappa (Managing Director- Bank Note Paper Mill India Pvt. Ltd), Ananta Hegde (General Manager, BNPMIPL), Kalplata Rajan, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, CA Ramchandra, CA Govindaraju and Dr. P. Krishnaiah (Deputy Director of Physical Education).Other guests present are M. Satish – Commissioner of Income Tax Appeal, CA C.S. Raghuveer – Chaiman of SIRC Mysore Chapter of ICAI, CA Subek Agarwal – Secretary of SIRC Mysore, CA Uttam Padival (SICASA, Mysore Chairman), CA Raghunandan Rao (Vice-Chairman of SIRC Mysore), CA S. Bhargava (Member, SIRC Mysore) and CA M.R. Thejaswi (Treasurer).
