Sathyanarayan, popularly known as Bank Sathyanarayan and a resident of the town, passed away following brief illness at his daughter’s house in Bengaluru yesterday.

He leaves behind his daughter, son-in-law, son, daughter-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.

Sathyanarayan was a RSS volunteer and had also served as the President of Viveka Balaga and Hunsur Samskruthika Kendra.

Last rites will be held at Chamarajpet Burial Grounds after his son arrives from Sydney, Australia, today evening, according to family sources.
