Mysuru: The Rangayana premises turned into festival mode with children dancing to some good music and playing with water colours as a part of the ‘Bannada Okuli’ organised to mark the valedictory of the month-long Chinnara Mela.
Speaking during the valedictory, Music Varsity Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sarvamangala Shankar said that children must not only dream but should work towards fulfilling the same. She urged the children to imbibe what had been taught in Rangayana and to lead their life on moral values.
Rangayana also felicitated Siri Vanalli, who recently received the Best Child Artiste during the recently held State Film Awards.
Senior Theatrist Prof. G.K. Govindarao, Ranga Samaja Members K.Y. Narayanaswamy & D.S. Chougle, Rangayana Dy. Director Nirmala Mathapati and Chinnara Mela Director Mime Ramesh were present.
