Banner Victory twice in a row by Mysuru NCC Group

Mysore/Mysuru: The Alumni of 4 Kar Air Sqn NCC, Mysuru, proudly welcomed back the NCC Cadets who represented the Karnataka & Goa Directorate at the Republic Day Camp-2026 in New Delhi.

Their exceptional performance led the Directorate to secure the prestigious Banner for the second consecutive year, marking a historic milestone for the Mysuru Group.

A total of 17 Cadets — 10 Senior Division (SD), 6 Senior Wing (SW) and 1 Junior Division (JD) — participated in the camp, accompanied by drill instructors Hav Kuldeep Singh and Hav Ranjit Singh from 14 Kar Battalion, Mysuru. The 14 Kar Btn contributed the maximum number of Cadets from Mysuru NCC Group.

• 15 KAR BN: SUO I.M. Ajay (GOH) Platoon Commander and SUO Y.P. Abhishek (PM Rally) PM Banner Holder.

• 16 KAR BN: JUO J.D. Swathi (Rajpath).

• 3 KAR G BN: CDT T.P. Pallavi (Rajpath).

• 3 KAR NAVAL: CDT Ahmed Amar Khan (PM Rally).

• 4 KAR AIR SQN: CSUO V. Nivesh Narayan (PM Rally) Pluck Card Holder of South Zone and CPL K. Nandan (Best Cadet) PM Rally.

Leadership and Guidance

The Mysuru Group’s consecutive victory was achieved under the dynamic leadership of Group Commander Col. Rohith Thakur, whose vision and commitment inspired the Cadets to excel. The collective effort of the Mysuru Group HQs and its dedicated officers, ANOs played a crucial role in this success:

Alumni Felicitation

On behalf of the Alumni of 4 Kar Air Sqn NCC, Founder and Secretary Uma Venkatesh, along with Lakshmi Vallabha, Sharath Mohan, L.V. Prasad and Abhishekar, were present to congratulate in person, the Cadets and Instructors on their arrival to the city.
