Mysuru: Mysuru District Brahmana Sangha President D.T. Prakash inaugurated the cartoon exhibition of city’s well-known cartoonist M.V. Nagendra Babu (Banter Babu) at the Mysuru Art Gallery, Ramanuja Road, here this morning.

There are 34 cartoons on display that includes political and social cartoons and caricatures. Speaking to Star of Mysore here this morning Babu said that there are three caricatures which are on display and all national award winning ones. Hence, he decided to give away prizes to the viewers who identify the three caricatures. The viewers can fill the forms and put it into the luck dip box which will be picked tomorrow (May 5) evening at 5 pm. The first, second and third prizes carry cash awards, he added.

Social activist and culture patron Dr. K. Raghuram Vajapayee, Mysuru Art Gallery President L. Shivalingappa and others were present.

The exhibition is open from 10 am to 7 pm on both the days.
