Mysuru: A bar bender who was working in an under-construction building fell from the building and died after being electrocuted.
The tragic incident took place at K.R. Mills Colony on Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway recently and the deceased has been identified as Ravi (35), a resident of Vinayaka Colony in T. Narasipur.
Ravi was involved in bending iron roads for the roof of the first floor house in K.R. Mills Colony ‘A’ Block, when he accidentally came in contact with a live wire and fell to the ground from the first floor resulting in him sustaining serious injuries.
Though he was rushed to a private hospital in the Outer Ring Road, Ravi is said to have succumbed to injuries at the hospital, Police said.
A complaint against building owner, engineer and supervisor (mesthri), accusing them of negligence has been lodged at Narasimharaja (NR) Police Station in the city.
