Mysuru: Jagadguru Sri Veerasimhasana Mahasamsthana Mutt in association with JSS Mahavidyapeetha and JSS Granthamale have organised a function on May 6 at 10.30 am to celebrate Basava Jayanti and to launch books at the conference hall of JSS College of Pharmacy in Ooty.

Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and Vijayapura Jnanayogashrama’s Sri Siddeshwara Swamiji will grace the occasion.

Chairman of BVB, Coimbatore, Dr. B.K. Krishnaraj Vanavarayar will release the translated books  ‘Kayaga Tavatan Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Adigalar’ by Iraiyadian and ‘Suttur Kamadenu’ by Dr. P. Mani. Nilgiri District SP Murali Rambha will preside over the function.
