Basava Jayanti tomorrow at Mysore Art Gallery

Mysore Art Gallery and Mahadeshwara Art Troupe, Gowrishankaranagar, have jointly organised Basava Jayanti programme at the Gallery premises, 12th Cross, Ramanuja Road, at 11 am tomorrow (May 6). Mangala Muddumadappa, Head Mistress of Marimallappa’s High School, will inaugurate the event. Bharatanatyam artiste Kalpana S. Jupthimath will be the chief guest. Mysore Art Gallery Founder-President L. Shivalingappa will preside.

As part of the programme Mahamanavatavadi Basavanna’s Rangoli Exhibition will be held at the gallery from May 6 to 8 between 10 am and 6 pm.
