Battakalanda Poovamma (Atrangada), wife of late Somaiah, passed away at her residence in Hootagalli in the wee hours of today. She was 82.

She leaves behind three daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Cremation was held this afternoon at Mukthidhaama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage.
