BEML employees hold protest meet

Mysuru:  Urging for fulfilment of various demands including revision of salaries, providing medical facilities even for retired employees, solving problems in canteen and pension to retired employees among others, the employees of Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) held a protest meeting at the entrance of the factory in Hootagalli here yesterday.

The protest meeting, held under BEML Employees Unions Co-ordination Committee, was attended by more than 1,000 employees and office-bearers of BEML Unions of Mysuru, Bengaluru, KGF and Palakkad, during which they demanded the management to fulfil their demands.

BEML Employees Union President Devadas, Vice-President Govindareddy, General Secretary Nagashayana, H.P. Shivappa, Chandsingh and others took part.
