Bengaluru boy Gahan wins Mysuru’s Vivekananda finishes fourth

M.G. Gahan with 8 points from eight rounds clinched the title in the Karnataka State Open Rapid Chess Championship 2019 held on May 11 and 12 on Tumakuru Road in Bengaluru recently. Mysuru lad L. Vivekananda finished fourth in the Tournament with 7 points.

Final Placings — 1. M.G. Gahan (8), 2. A.P. Joshua (7.5-44), 3. Gavi Siddiah (7.5-41.25), 4. L. Vivekananda (7-40), 5. Niranjan Navalgund (7).
