Bengaluru businessman ends life in city lodge

Mysore/Mysuru: A businessman from Bengaluru, who is said to have suffered huge losses, has allegedly committed suicide by hanging self at the room of a lodge in city on Sunday night.

The deceased is Basava-rajappa (55), a resident of Yelahanka in Bengaluru. It is learnt that Basavarajappa had suffered losses in the share market and other business and was depressed. He had checked into a lodge on B.N. Road at Lashkar Mohalla three days ago. At about 11 pm on Sunday, he had sent a WhatsApp message to his wife asking her to take care of the children and wrote a death note stating that no one was responsible for his death. He then committed suicide by hanging self in the room, according to the Police. Lashkar Police have registered a case.
