Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Hanumanthachar Joshi, Professor and Principal, Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy, Mysuru, has been awarded with prestigious ‘Best Principal of the Year 2020 Award’ by the Institute of Scholars (InSc), Bengaluru, for his exemplary contributions in the field of Education, Research, Care, Advocacy and Social Work for the year 2020. 

InSc Bengaluru Director Dr. Nanjesh Bennur was also present during the award function held at Bengaluru on Feb. 1.

Dr. Hanumanthachar Joshi has been selected for this award for his contributions to the academic community, social work and research on Alzheimer’s disease drug discovery process, research; he has published more then 217 research papers in international and national scientific journals. 

He has delivered talks at 153 Conferences as resource person and has visited 37 countries on invitation. He is also the President of Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India, Mysuru Chapter and Peoples’ Association for Geriatric Empowerment, Mysuru, which are actively involved in making awareness about management, care and treatment of Dementia.
