Bharatanatyam programme

Nritya Vidyapeetha – Academy of Classical Dance and Indian Arts, Mysuru, has organised an event titled ‘Matru-Kanya,’ a Bharatanatyam programme by Guru Vidu. C.N. Anitha and her daughter-disciple Jnanashri Kesari at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises on Hunsur Road in city tomorrow (June 13).

5.30 pm: Bharatanatyam by the disciples of Guru Dr. Padmashree, Kalanidhi School of Dance, Pandavapura.

6 pm: Bharatanatyam by the disciples of Guru Vidu. Ramya S. Raghavendra of Nataraja Natya Shale, Nanjangud.

6.30 pm: ‘Matru-Kanya’ Bharatanatyam recital by Guru Vidu. C.N. Anitha and her daughter Jnanashri Kesari.

They will be accompanied by Vidu. Ramya Rajesh on natuvanga, Nayana Nagaraj on vocal, Vid. Tumkur B. Shashishankar on mridanga and Vid. B. Bharath Raj on flute.

B. Madhu, Professor of Community Medicine, JSS Medical College and Deputy Dean (Research), JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, will be the chief guest.
